Wintergreen park is located in the town of Canajoharie and  contains within it’s bounds several very picturesque waterfalls. Most are shorter and a couple do not produce very much flow during the coarse of the year.

The main waterfall attraction, Canajoharie Falls, is very impressive though. You can only safely visit this waterfall from a platform built above it on the cliffs edge. The waterfall is a great place to visit while in the area and the park offers a lot of activities during your stay.

You can gain access to the Canajoharie Creek from the lower parking area of the park and walk down to the crest of the waterfall. The rock is very slippery though. Many people are rescued out of the gorge every year because of minor and major injuries.

The bottom of the falls is located on posted lands, so access to that are is not permitted. (*The photos shown here were taken with proper permission from the appropriate town officials.*)
