Welcome and thank you for visiting Dig The Falls!

Dig The Falls (DTF) was originally conceived in 2004 in an effort to catalog every waterfall located within New York State.
In 2010 DTF decided to broaden it’s original scope to include “Everything Nature”, which means that your favorite POI’s, Hiking, Biking trails and even Canoeing areas will be continually added to the site.

This site will be ever evolving and updating to include more and more of your favorite content and activities.

Please feel free to browse our pages and visit the links we have posted to the site. If there are any comments or suggestions, please contact me via E-mail and I will be more than happy to read your questions, comments and/or suggestions and try to respond to each one in a timely manner. With so much information out there, we would be wrong in stating that we don’t need your input to help add to the content of DTF.

The goal of Dig The Falls is to create a robust website that will highlight all that New York has to offer. There are many sites on the web devoted to New York’s outdoors that offer up a  lot of information, but do not offer it in a visual sort of way. This is where DTF can help!

Right now our list of waterfalls has reached over 1,600 different waterfalls, with over 500 of these being publicly accessible. All of these publicly accessible locations will be added to DTF in the coming weeks.
We believe we will be able to reach a total of 1,000+ publicly accessible waterfalls to the site before we are done!
