Hi, and welcome to the new Dig The Falls website.
We are excited that you stopped by!
Read the adapted text from the New York State Conservationist, February 2013 issue.
Due to an overwhelming need to add more purpose to Dig The Falls, we have revamped the site for everyone to get even more involved in the Dig The Falls community!
Over the past 10+ years, Dig The Falls has gone through many changes, but this one takes the cake. New York State Waterfalls has become a very big topic online, with as many as 50 websites devoted to the subject. Many of these sites are curated by very talented individuals just like yourself! Some have even joined the Dig The Falls Facebook community. We are truly blessed to have become familiar with a lot of great people!
A partnership with Field Trip, creator of the Field Trip app, has allowed us to share our content with the world via a simple location-based mobile app (Download the Field Trip app for Android or iPhone to join the experience). We presently have just under 100 listings on this app, but we are excited to be continually adding other locations you may have seen on the map in our Knowledgebase!!
The new site design is intended to offer a sense of community while also allowing expansion of content pertaining to everything outdoors in New York State. While you are viewing our pages feel free to email us with some suggestions that would make the site a better place for you. Who knows? Maybe your suggestion could help everyone who visits Dig The Falls.
Please keep checking in! Check out our interactive maps and feel free to drop us a line. We want to hear from you 🙂
