Anderson Falls – Keesville

Anderson Falls

Anderson Falls is a 10-foot-high waterslide cascade formed on the Ausable River, and the first waterfall encountered since the two branches of the Ausable River joined forces. The waterfall is named after John Anderson, an early settler, and lumberman. For a time, the village was also called Anderson Falls. In 1812, the town’s name changed to Keeseville in honor of Richard Keese, a prominent, local businessman, and has kept that name ever since
