Arguably the most famous waterfall in New York State and possibly the United States

Niagara Falls is an absolute must-see for any waterfall enthusiast. Consisting of the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls on the American side and Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side, this is truly an amazing park to visit.

In case you want to visit all three of the waterfalls in one visit, there is a ferry named for an Indian maiden who was sacrificed to the falls long ago; the Maid of the Mist. The full legend can be found at Niagara Daredevils, along with many other stories about the falls!

While visiting the park, you can also get up close and soaked at the bottom of Bridal Veil Falls by visiting the Cave of the Winds. This seasonal attraction takes you well above the top of the escarpment to a platform located right next to the falls. At average flow, certain portions of the decking are almost unwalkable, due to the monstrous force of the winds and turbulence of the falls. While the park has made the attraction fairly accessible, the Hurricane Deck is one that most cannot endeavor.

Keep your eyes peeled while walking through the park. There are many attractions to enjoy and miles of paths to hike.
