The trail goes to the left and down through some mucky areas. As you reach the river, the path is more clearly defined and easy to follow. The trail comes to the portion of the river that holds Powerline Falls. At this point you are .1 miles from the road. To continue on the trail to Shurform Rapids, just follow the trail upstream for an additional .3 miles. The section of trail between Powerline Falls and Shurform Rapids is very nice and easy going. Have a small bag on hand. It is possible, due to the pandemic, that the trail you are going to visit will contain litter.

What better way to help our fellow Waterfallers than limit the amount of litter seen by the next Waterfallers to hike on the path!?
