Falls of Carillon – Ticonderoga

The LaChute River is a two-mile waterway in Ticonderoga that connects Lake George to Lake Champlain. The LaChute drops a total of 230 feet as it flows over several falls. One such waterfall is The Falls of Carillon (French; pronounced carry-on). Ticonderoga, formerly known as Carillon, is also home to Fort Ticonderoga; formerly known as Fort Carillon.
