Twin Falls is a 30-foot-high seasonal cascade consisting of two large drops at the top followed by several smaller drops as it follows an unnamed brook downhill. This unnamed stream rises from the col between Giant Mountain and Rocky Peak Ridge. As the waterway approaches the bottom, it turns left and parallels Rte. 73 en route to its confluence with The North Fork of the Boquet River. As this waterfall tends to be seasonal, it is best seen in early Spring or after a lengthy or heavy rain.
To get there: From the parking area for Round Pond, cross Rte 73 and walk northwest for several hundred feet and look for a large roadside boulder. At the boulder, turn right into the woods and follow the stream uphill for approximately 100 feet. You will then come to the base of the two main drops. Caution is advised as footing can be very tricky as you will encounter fallen trees, loose rocks, and voids covered with fallen leaves.
