Discover the lower falls of Northwest Bay Brook Falls
Northwest Bay Brook is home to two waterfalls in this area; the large, 8ft wrapping flume-like lower and cascading 20ft upper. The short trail to the lower falls is adjacent to the trailhead for Clay Meadow. Hop over the guardrail and follow the well-worn herd path. By switching the map to satellite view, you will see the two waterfalls on the brook as well as the parking area on the opposite side of the road near a small pond. Information on the upper falls is available on a separate page.
In the summer months, this is a popular spot for native rattlesnakes to sun themselves on the rocks. Please be aware of where you are stepping to avoid unwanted contact as well as slippery rocks.
